Who we are

This policy explains how Credentialing Agents ("Credentialing Agents," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through this marketing website. We are the controller of that information. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@credentialingagents.com.

Scope

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover our product application (used by customers under a separate agreement) or the practices of third parties we link to.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, work email, and any company, role, or message you choose to share. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and you should not send clinician or patient records through this site.

Information collected automatically. Like most sites, we and our providers receive standard technical and usage data — IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring links, and interactions — through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your consent where required.

Cookies and similar technologies

We group cookies and pixels into three purposes. You control the last two through the consent banner and the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Always active; no consent needed.

Analytics. Google Analytics 4 and privacy-friendly product telemetry help us understand traffic and improve the site.

Advertising and retargeting. With your consent we load advertising pixels so we can measure campaigns and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site:

  • Meta PixelFacebook and Instagram advertising and retargeting.
  • LinkedIn Insight TagLinkedIn advertising, retargeting, and conversion measurement.
  • TikTok PixelTikTok advertising and retargeting.
  • Google Ads / Google tagGoogle and YouTube advertising, remarketing, and conversion measurement.

These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and fire only after you accept. Until then we apply Google Consent Mode with advertising and analytics storage denied by default. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.

How we use information

To respond to demo and contact requests; to operate, secure, and improve the site; to measure and run marketing and advertising campaigns (including retargeting) where you have consented; and to comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (withdrawable at any time); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and understanding demand; performance of a contract or steps at your request when you ask for a demo; and legal obligation where the law requires it.

How information is shared

We share personal information with service providers that operate the site on our behalf — website hosting and analytics, our email provider, and the advertising platforms named above when you have consented. These parties may act as independent controllers of the data they collect through their pixels; their own policies then apply.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising platforms for cross-context retargeting may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some US state laws — declining advertising cookies opts you out. We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect our rights, and in connection with a corporate transaction.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EEA/UK.

Data retention

We keep demo-request and contact details for as long as needed to respond and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Cookie and analytics data is retained per the settings of each tool.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Cookies. Accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies from the banner, and reopen it any time via Cookie settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of advertising cookies where required.

EEA/UK. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent, plus the right to complain to your data protection authority.

US states. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" and targeted advertising. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email privacy@credentialingagents.com. We will verify and respond as required by law.

Children

This site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, a notice on the site.
